Pictures from Merdja Zerga:

The picture was taken near the campside, looking east. In the foreground you see the lakeshore. In the background on the right side is Moullay Bousselham.
The Marsh Owls take off from these trees within the campside compound. This tree, including Marsh Owl, can be found at waypoint 34 5225,500 N / 6 176,1440 W.
Merdja Zerga offers a large variaty of waterbirds. Including Flaminco's and Eurasian Spoonbill amongst many others.
This is Hassan, the one and only bird guide of Merdja Zerga. He didn't like his picture taken (a religeous thing apperently), but surprise, surprise, we found him somewhere in de background.
A Black-tailed Godwit in action over the lake.
A view from the room in Hotel Villanora, at the far end of Moullay Bousellelham, overlooking a wild, untamable Atlantic Ocean.
